A - Starting at the outer corner of the eye, gently peel off the strip lash. Remove the adhesive from band and place lashes back on tray for re-use.
A - DuraLashes are easily removed by using the specially formulated LashFree Remover. Place a tissue over the lower lid and partially close your eye. Dip an eyeliner brush into LashFree Remover, then gently stroke along the lash line until adhesive softens. Remove lashes without pulling. Repeat if necessary.
A - LashGrip Adhesive is a latex-based adhesive formulated for strip lashes to last several hours. It can also be used to apply individual lashes for an evening. LashTite Adhesive is latex-free, and is intended to keep individual lashes on from 2-4 weeks.
A - Yes. Makeup artists use LashGrip Adhesive to apply individual lashes for photo shoots, music videos, and films. If you want individual lashes on for several hours, use LashGrip Adhesive. If you want them to last for several days, use LashTite Adhesive.
A - Some women like to apply their full makeup with lashes as the finishing touch. Others prefer to apply most of their makeup, lashes, and then blend eyeliner to hide the lash band.
A - Mascara is optional. If you have straight lashes, you can curl your lashes and apply a little mascara before applying strip lashes. Ardell's LashMagic is ideal for blending strip lashes to your natural lashes.
A - If you are applying individual lashes using LashTite Adhesive for long lasting results, mascara is not recommended. If LashGrip Adhesive is used for one evening with individual lashes, mascara can add extra volume.
A - Yes! Try Ardell accent lashes. These are shorter in length than strip lashes (about half the size) and can be applied to the outer edges of your eyes. Gives a flirty look.
A - Ardell strip lashes are made from sterilized 100% human hair. Individual lashes and specialty lashes (rhinestones) are synthetic.
A - Yes. You should store them in the container they came in.
A - Non-oily eye-makeup remover will clean them. You may need to use tweezers to remove the adhesive.
A - Ardell is the pioneer in the False Lash industry. With 40 years of experience in creating new trends in lashes, we have a variety of quality lashes to choose from.
A - After you apply adhesive to lash, wait 30 seconds for it to become tacky. Application will be easier.
A - You can, but it is not recommended. If you sleep on your side, your lashes may get bent or come off. It's always best to remove eye makeup and wash your face before you go to bed.
A - Just a few minutes. However, it will take longer on your first few attempts. We suggest you practice first. Don't try just before you are getting ready for a special occasion, as you may get too frustrated.
A - No. LashTite Adhesive was formulated to give longer lasting results for individual lashes only (2-4 weeks). For removal, LashFree Remover will dissolve this long lasting adhesive. LashTite Adhesive should be used on lashes only, and should not touch the skin.
A - No. The lashes themselves do not contain any latex. However, LashGrip Adhesive for Strip Lashes do contain latex. LashTite Adhesive for Individual Lashes do not contain latex.
A - You should remove the lashes. If irritation persists, consult your physician.
A - The lashes are handmade, so you may sometimes find slight variations.
A - Not at this time, as we don't sell directly to professionals.
A - You may want to apply your eyeliner first along your lashline so that you have a visual line to follow. In addition, eyeliner can be added afterwards, so everything is more 'blended'. When applying LashGrip Adhesive to strip lashes, be sure to wait 30 seconds for it to become tacky. If you don't, it may be too slippery, making it difficult to get the right placement of lashes.
A - Dark adhesive dries black and helps hide the lash band. Clear adhesive will dry clear.
